Gallia County Job and Family Services received temporary disaster assistance funding through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services following Governor DeWine’s declaration of a state of emergency for Gallia County.
The amount awarded depends on program eligibility and the availability of funds
Flood damage must be reported to the Gallia County Emergency Management Agency (EMA). The EMA must complete a damage assessment in accordance with their processes, before an application can be approved. Please make sure you have reported your damage to the EMA. We will verify damage through Gallia County EMA office.
Program Eligibility
Families: Meet TANF eligibility requirements, have verified flood damage, and have household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Eligible families may receive up to $1,500.
Individuals age 55 or older or with a disability: Eligible individuals must have flood-related damage and income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Eligible individuals age 55 or older or with a disability may receive up to $750.
Regardless of applicant’s determined eligibility, the applicant will not receive said benefits if funding is no longer available/exhausted.
Information Needed to Apply
